Although perfume is mostly associated as a woman's fragrance, perfume is actually a fragrance type with no particular gender connotations. Specifically, perfume contains 15-40% aromatic compounds. Perfume is also called extract or extrait perfume. This is the purest form of scented product and is the most expensive as a result.[1] [2]
